Local Missions:
Ecumenical Food Pantry – Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:00 at Second Congregational Church, Newcastle – Serving the towns of Damariscotta, Newcastle and Nobleboro.  You can access their website by clicking on the name.
People to People – Mondays in the basement of DBC - Hours are 4 PM to 6 PM – A cooperative ministry of Lincoln County churches and other donors offering clothing and household items. Accepting clean usable donations of clothing, blankets, bedding, curtains, baby furniture and small housewares.  For more information call  Shirley at 563-5511.
Divorce Care – A special weekly support group for people who are separated or divorced.  More information is available at our website DivorceCare page or at www.DivorceCare.org
Prayer Shawl Ministry - Made in prayer, the shawls are passed on hand-to-hand and heart-to-heart.  They meet on the third Sunday of each month to knit and fellowship.  All are welcome - and you don't have to be a knitter!
Miles of Friends – 2nd Wednesday each month during the school year – Adults “adopt” second grade students at Great Salt Bay and Nobleboro Elementary Schools for 1 1/2 hours each month - a great way for adults to interact with the second graders!  See our Calendar for more information.
Restorative Justice Project - A group that promotes fundamental change in the justice system and schools
Kairos - Prison ministry
Open Door Cafe - Sponsored by the Ecumenical Coalition on Homeless Prevention and hosted at DBC.  This is a 'welcome center' for everyone - offering hospitality, support, respect, coffee and snacks.  Open Mondays and Thursdays from 11 AM to 2 PM
Ecumenical Coalition on Homeless Prevention - A local group of concerned citizens addressing the problem of homelessness in the Midcoast area
Diaper Gap Group - Another Ecumenical group striving to assure each new parent has a consistent supply of diapers
Wednesday Night Community Dinner - A free weekly meal for all - prepared and served at Second Congregational Church, Newcastle  
Foreign Missions:
Haiti - We support the work of the New Missions team 
Papua, New Guinea - We support David and Deborah Barton and the work of Wycliffe Bible Translators
Peru - We support Juan Pablo and the work of 
Peru - We support the work of Toby & Sara Shannon and the work of Commission to Every Nation
Worldwide - We support Operation Christmas Child - we are the area Drop-off Location in November each year


AA Groups:
Sisters in Sobriety - Mondays at 6:30 - For women only
Common Solutions Group – Wednesdays at 6:30 PM – Your first step to peace of mind. 
Alive Again Group – Saturdays at 8:00 PM – A fellowship of men and women who share the experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
Riverside Group - Fridays at 9:00 AM
