A LETTER FROM TOBY & SARA SHANNON – MISSIONARIES TO PERU

Dear friends at Damariscotta Baptist Church,

It is so great to be back often to our peninsula in Maine and see you all more often! We have shared about the progress on the construction in Peru before, but thought the whole congregation would like to hear of these mission opportunities.

Would your church embers be interested in a 9-day mission project in Peru in 2025? Yapey Ministries is building a Vocational Training and Discipleship Center in central Peru and there are opportunities for members of your church to help! We are excited to see who God will use to complete this center!

February 15 to 23; March 22 to 30; April 12 to 20;October 18-26; November 8 to 16

A great experience, and insight into this ministry in Peru! Each team can be 4-12 people. If there are fewer than 4, they can join with another volunteer group. Cost is$1,200 per person covering all your in-Peru expenses (in-country flights, local transportation, lodging and meals}, including each team member’s project contribution towards the materials needed for the build. Round trip flights from the US run $550 to $850 USD depending where you are coming from and how early you book. We are available to help virtually with advance preparation, travel arrangements, orientation, etc. as needed.

No Spanish language or construction skills needed!
