OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes.
Our Sunday School children will be packing boxes this Sunday and next Sunday to send to a child. You can get into the fun and pack your own box for a boy or girl in need. Start with an average-size cardboard or plastic shoebox. If you want to wrap it, cover the box and lid separately.
You can pick up a list of suggested items to put into the box at the back of the church. Don't forget to also include a personal note and photo—sometimes these are the child's favorite things to receive! If you are able, a donation of $10 per box is critical to cover evangelism materials, shipping, and other project costs.
Bring your packed box back to church next Sunday. Julie will make sure it goes to the distribution center to be sent to a child in need. For many, it is their first gift ever!
COMMUNION SUNDAY
Don't forget...we celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month. This is followed by a Fellowship Meal after the service. This is a time to sit, eat and visit for a spell. Let's get to know each other better!

Mary Jane passed away on October 28th. Please keep Foster and the rest of their family and friends in your prayers. Foster was an interim pastor at DBC and Mary Jane very energetically led the children! She will be missed by all who knew her.
